New to Blogging

I decided to try this and see if I can get into it.  I have some friends who have blogs and love to check them to see what they are up to.  Now it's my turn!  :o)  Life is good at the moment!  Married to a wonderful man, Travis.  We have a son, Sam, he's 14 weeks old as of yesterday and growing up so fast!  I love his little smiles!  His whole face smiles with it and his head goes into his shoulders :o)  I don't want to sound like one of those parents that only talks about their child.. but hey, it's my blog and that's pretty much what eats up my time at the moment!  ;o)

He loves his tigger toy!  I got him a bigger stuffed tigger for when he gets a little bigger.  He's a pretty happy little boy, wakes up smiling in the mornings.  He likes to sit up and watch the world!  You can catch him in his swing trying to pull his head up to be able to look out at everything.  I put him in his Bumbo seat the other night so he could sit with daddy and I as we ate dinner.  He LOVED this, very curious about what we were eating.  He gets frustrated when he can't do what he thinks he should be able to do!  LOL  He gets to set up like he wants to... THEN we want to lean all the way forward to see everything else!  It's a toss up on where he gets this frustration!  :o)

I'm ready for holiday time! I get to actually spend time with Travis and Sam (not just on the weekends or for an hour a night).  This is why I love working in education.. Thanksgiving Break and Christmas Break!!  Two weeks off for Christmas is just wonderful!  I've been kind of worried (and if you know me, I worry about EVERYTHING!) about Sam not knowing I'm his mama.  I know this might sound kind of crazy, but all week long I don't see him for most of his waking hours.  Just a couple hours in the evenings.   I'm sure I worry for no reason and there is a bigger connection there between us, or I hope there is!  I envy those that get to stay home.  He's a fun little kid!

We took family pictures this last weekend.  They went well!  Had to wake Sam up from a very short nap and I figured he would be cranky.  Nope all smiles.  She got a lot of really good pictures of him.

She made the comment about one of them because she accidentally got drool in one of them, I had to giggle because that was one of my favorites!  It's him, he drools!   LOL  Nothing he can help and for sure nothing anyone is going to change!  Now... if he's still a drooler when he's a teenager..  then we might have an issue!  ;o)
