Our First Cold

Sam got his first cold this last week.  He woke up about 3:30 am Thursday morning crying because he couldn't breathe.  I went into his room and his eyes were still shut.  Cleaned his nose out and he passed out right there on his changing table.  He woke up again at 6:30 with the same problem.  I just decided to stay home with him.  Poor little guy.  I knew he didn't feel good, he never wakes up crying, normally just playing with his hands and smiles when you come in the room.  We had a lot of cuddle time Thursday and he took quite a few naps.  He was still his smiley self, but just got fussy when he couldn't breathe.  By Thursday night he was ready for bed and slept all night again without a fuss!  :o)  He's still been stuffy but a happy baby none-the-less. 

It was a pretty good weekend, got a lot of Daddy, Mama, and Sam time.  :o) Sam had a lot of play time, I think he really liked it.  Rolling around on the floor.  He's almost making it from his back to his tummy.  

Only two days this week!  Definitely ready for the Thanksgiving break this week!  We are going to Goodland so it will be Sam's first road trip and we are taking the dogs.. it will be an interesting ride for sure!  LOL  I'm sure Michelle is grateful to have a break from watching kids!  Travis and I went to see the new Harry Potter movie on Sunday, Sam got to hang out with Aunt Melissia.  It was very sweet of her to volunteer to watch him.  It was nice to have a little time with just the two of us!  Even with the child sitting next to me kicking me during the movie!  LOL  A good "date afternoon"!  :o)
