Everything was golden! :o) two happy puppies! Sam started fussing to get out of his carseat about 2 blocks away from Grandma and Grandpa's. I'm good with that timing! LOL
We got there and Grandpa wanted to take us to the local dealership to look at a Yukon.. we have been looking for a new vehicle for about 2 years now, trying out different makes to see what we liked. The dealership there had a 2002 Yukon Denali. So we went to look.. not thinking we were actually going to do anything. I'm fairly nervous when it comes to spending large amounts of money and getting into payments. But when a good deal comes I guess sometimes you just have to take a breath and take the plunge!
We didn't sign the paperwork till Friday, but it was too good a deal to pass up! The price was decent for what it is worth, and we really needed to trade off Travis' jeep since it had 176,000 miles on it, not a bad Jeep and definitely got us pretty far! Thanks to Denny and Marcina who took such excellent care of it before they gave it to Travis!
Thanksgiving was good, not a lot happened. Just hung out most of the day. Sam played and got to hang out with Grandma. The change in house didn't seem to bother him too much, we had some of his toys and his bouncer we took along so I guess he had a little bit of home with him. I gave him his bottle later in the afternoon, and we passed out right after!
A little messy :o) but still adorable!
We left Goodland on Saturday. My dad drove my jeep back with Tink and Mia and Travis and I rode in the Yukon with Sam. I asked dad if he was a glutton for punishment?! He volunteered to take the dogs! This is what he gets...
Travis and dad cleaned out Travis' jeep and dad took it back to Goodland. Sam played and I put his clothes and stuff away. I come back into the livingroom to him passed out under his gym.
So I put him to bed for a nap!
He got to go out to Nana and Papaws later that day :o) Uncle William was there helping put up Chrismas lights. I love seeing the white lights! Makes me excited for Christmas!!
